Ghee is prepared from Cow Milk as well as Buffalo milk, Both have their own distinctive features. They widely differ accordingly to location, climate and food habits of the animal.
Ghee is extracted in two methods.
(1)Separated milk cream
(2) Milk is converted into curd
Both the sources have widely different in quality taste and flavor.
Gawa Ghee and Bhaisa Ghee
In Ghee, fat being the primary ingredient, is extracted from either cream or curd. Historically Ghee fat has been one of the main cooking ingredients in the cuisines Indian Sub continent spread up to the South East Asian Countries. The preparation techniques adopted by people of India, Pakistan and Afghanistan termed as Desi style and therefore the Ghee prepared adopting technique of extracting ghee either from cream or curd is called as Desi Ghee. Now if the source milk is obtained from cow milk is called Desi Gawa Ghee and if the source is obtained from Buffalo milk is called as Desi Bhaisa Ghee. Our brand SREE GHEE comes under the classification of Curd based Desi Bhaisa Ghee. As the source of raw material of Desi Gawa Ghee and Desi Bhaisa Ghee is different, taste, flavor and applications are different all together.
Ghee is primarily composed of Buffalo milk fats, comprising of three types of fats and few other nutrients as depicted in the table given bellow.

Milk lactose is absent in Sree Ghee,as it is processed from milk converted to curd. Therefore it is digested easily even by the lactose intolerant (cannot digest milk) people.
Ghee having very high smoke point comparing to refined edible oildoes not burn easily and therefore does not decompose while cooking, as a result it does not produce toxic molecules and therefore ghee is much easily digested also help in digestion.
Another interesting fact regarding Sree Ghee is that, due to utmost care in processing, acid is removed to its maximum extent. Therefore chance of occurrence of hyper acidity in the digestive system will be bare minimum.

According to many recent scientific studies it has been revealed that Short chain fatty acids present in Ghee have excellent properties to protect our body.
